In 1931, during economic stagnation, The Matchless Company took over AJS Motorcycles and moved production from Wolverhampton to London. In 1933, the assortment consisted of 10 models, ranging from a 250cc ohv to a 990cc sv V-twin. This AJS B6 ohv has a displacement of 349cc and bore 74mm, stroke 81mm. The 33-6 Series included two models, this 33-B6 with one port and the 33-6 with two ports. It´s equipped with electrical lighting and magneto ignition. This solidly built 33-B6 has a 4 speed gearbox.
The AJS is sold as a project. The motor runs but has occasional dropouts of the ignition spark. The bike is complete.
